Enquête ouverte après une arrestation violente à Brooklyn
Des images choquantes filmées dans un magasin d’alcool à Brooklyn montrent l’interpellation violente d’un homme noir par deux agents de la NYPD (l’un en gilet “Police”, l’autre en civil). Sur la vidéo, on voit l’homme recevoir des coups au visage, au torse et à l’entrejambe avant d’être plaqué au sol. Une fois maîtrisé, l’un des agents lui écrase la jambe avec son pied. Selon plusieurs médias locaux, il s’agirait d’une erreur d’identité, les policiers ayant confondu l’homme avec un trafiquant de drogue. La cheffe de la police de New York a annoncé l’ouverture d’une enquête interne. Les deux agents ont été affectés à des tâches administratives et leurs armes et insignes ont été provisoirement retirés. Qu’en pensez-vous ? The video captures the man being struck in the face, torso, and groin before being forced to the ground. Once pinned down, one of the officers is seen stomping on his leg. According to local media reports, this was a case of mistaken identity, as officers allegedly mistook the man for a drug dealer. The NYPD Chief has announced an internal investigation.
