Las Vegas : Un touriste canadien arrêté pour torture sur un flamant rose
Une affaire révoltante secoue la ville du vice. Mitchell Fairbarn, un touriste canadien de 33 ans, a été arrêté après s’être introduit dans l’enclos des flamants roses de son hôtel et avoir capturé l’un d’entre eux, surnommé « Peachy ». Fortement alcoolisé, l’homme a été filmé par les caméras de surveillance en train de maltraiter l’animal, le tenant violemment par le cou. Dans sa chambre d’hôtel, la police a découvert une plume ensanglantée et des vidéos sur son téléphone le montrant en train d’étrangler et de jeter le flamant rose au sol. « Peachy » a été blessé à l’aile et a dû subir des points de suture. Le touriste, qui prétendait vouloir aider l’oiseau, a été inculpé de cruauté envers les animaux et placé sous contrôle judiciaire après avoir payé une caution de 12 000 dollars. Il lui est interdit d’approcher l’hôtel.

The tourist, who claimed he wanted to help the bird, was charged with animal cruelty and placed under judicial supervision after posting a $12,000 bond. He is prohibited from approaching the hotel.
